Versatile Functions
The DP-311P print server can directly attach to the parallel port on the back of your printer, eliminating the need to connect a printer cable. A detachable external antenna provides an efficient operating range for wireless users. You can easily replace this antenna with a higher Gain antenna when a longer operation range becomes necessary. For wireless security, data encryption is provided using the user-selectable 64/128-bit industry-standard WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) encryption protocol.
Multiple Network OS Support
The DP-311P supports many network OS, including Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, XP, Mac with Appletalk, Solaris, SCO Unix and NetWare native NDS. Thi s gives you the flexibility to install the print server, regardless of your network environment.
